Quotes Are Estimates Until Confirmed

A quote you receive through the website or by email is a good-faith estimate based on the details you give us. It is not a final contract until we confirm your relocation in writing and you accept it.

What can change a quote

The final price may differ if the actual inventory, access (stairs, elevators, long carries, gated entry, parking), home size, or dates differ from what you described. We tell you before any change takes effect, never after the fact.

  • Local jobs are billed at our published hourly rates, with truck, pads, and dollies included
  • Flat written rates by home size apply when the scope is confirmed in advance
  • Long-distance relocations are quoted as a binding written quote based on inventory and distance

Scope of Our Service

As a licensed Indiana mover, we perform the loading, transport, and unloading of your household goods using our own equipment and crews. Specialty work such as pianos or climate-controlled storage is offered as described on our service pages and confirmed in your quote.

  • We provide the truck, moving pads, dollies, and trained uniformed crews
  • Packing and materials are available as add-on services when requested
  • We do not transport hazardous materials, perishables, plants, firearms, cash, or irreplaceable documents

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate inventory, addresses, and access details
  • Secure parking or building access, including elevator reservations and gated-community entry, where required
  • Disclose oversized, fragile, or high-value items in advance
  • Be available, or have an authorized adult present, on move day

Liability and Cargo Coverage

Every Back To Back Moving job carries $1M cargo coverage. Valuation and claims are handled according to the terms of your written estimate and applicable Indiana and federal moving regulations, including released value at $0.60 per pound and an optional full-value-protection plan.

Filing a claim

If an item is lost or damaged in our care, notify us promptly and in writing – generally within the roughly nine-month federal claim window – so we can document and resolve it. Pre-existing damage and items packed by the customer may be treated differently under standard mover valuation rules.

To the fullest extent permitted by Indiana law, Back To Back Moving is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any relocation is limited to the coverage and valuation terms set out in your confirmed estimate.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • You may cancel or reschedule by contacting our office as early as possible before your move date
  • Any deposit and cancellation terms are stated in your written confirmation before you book
  • If severe weather or road conditions, such as an Indiana tornado warning or a major ice storm on I-65 or I-70, make a relocation unsafe, we will work with you to reschedule

Payment

Payment terms, accepted methods, and any deposit are set out in your written estimate and are due as agreed for the service performed. Hourly local jobs are billed for the time and any add-ons used; flat-rate and long-distance jobs are billed at the confirmed written price.

Disclaimer

The website is provided on an “as is” basis. While we keep our pricing and service information current, content on backtobackmoving.com is for general guidance and does not replace your individual written quote, which controls the terms of your relocation.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any dispute relating to your use of backtobackmoving.com or your relocation are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Marion County, Indiana.

Why the Circle City Books Back To Back Moving

From Carmel two-story Colonials and Fishers split-levels to Salesforce Tower high-rise condos and Lockerbie Square Victorians — a crew that knows Marion, Hamilton, and Johnson County streets block by block.

Severe-Weather Loadouts

From an April tornado warning to a January ice storm off Lake Michigan, our crew rolls up to your Indianapolis doorstep with floor runners, shrink wrap, and pad-wrapped dollies, so weather grit stays off the hardwood. Tight Lockerbie Square cobblestone curbs and steep Meridian-Kessler driveways across Indianapolis and central Indiana get a smaller box truck and a slower approach on grade.

Top-Rated IN Crews

Every hand at your door is on the Back To Back Moving payroll — full-time, background-checked, W-2, and trained the way Tyler runs the Keystone Avenue yard. Never day labor pulled off a board. That is how we hold a 5-star Google rating across Marion County.

One Flat Written Rate

Your figure is set on paper before the first carton clears your Indianapolis doorway, and it holds whether I-465 stacks at the north split or the job runs late. Long hauls out I-65 or I-70 come back as a binding written total — nothing added at the curb.

No Broker Handoffs

Every truck at a Circle City curb wears the Back To Back Moving name, and each mover on it draws a W-2 paycheck. Your load is never handed to an outside carrier — one Indianapolis company packs it, drives it, and carries it in.

Fully Insured, $1M Cargo

We operate as a registered Indiana household-goods carrier — Indiana URC household-goods authority on file for intrastate work, with US DOT and MC authority on file across state lines into Ohio, Illinois, Kentucky, and Michigan. A $1 million cargo policy backs every Indy job, no exceptions.

On Time Across the Metro

A two-hour arrival window and a call the moment the truck leaves our Keystone Avenue yard. We route around the I-65 / I-70 north-split tangle downtown and the I-465 backup near Fishers, so your closing date holds.

Packing & Supplies Included

Pack the whole house, just the finished basement, or only the rooms keeping you up at night. Cartons, pads, dollies, and shrink film ride on the truck before the crew leaves the yard, so wrapping starts the moment we step into your Indianapolis doorway.

Specialty Pieces Handled

Upright pianos, large gun safes, antique sideboards, and oversized armoires get the right ramp and straps — plus a crew chief who has eased them down Lockerbie Square cobblestones, out of Herron-Morton third-floor Victorian walk-ups, and up finished-basement stairs across Carmel and Fishers.

Your Easy Indianapolis Move

A flat written rate, then loading, then unloading at your new Indy address — three steps, start to finish.

1

Tell Us About Your Move

Share the basics — rooms, finished basement, tight Lockerbie Square cobblestone curb access, any upright piano or gun safe — and Tyler’s office prices it as one clear flat figure with no fine print.

2

We Wrap & Protect

The crew rolls up on time, pads and shrink-wraps every piece — finished basements, Salesforce Tower high-rise units, narrow Herron-Morton third-floor walk-ups — and shoulders all the heavy lifting.

3

Move to Your New Home

We drive across Marion County or out I-65 toward Louisville and I-74 toward Cincinnati, unload box by box into the right rooms, and reassemble the furniture. Welcome home!
